Dealing with technology with a couple of remedies

Back in the day, I used to work as a Traders’ Assistant at a huge multinational bank. It was hectic which was fine and exciting, some times.  My role was mainly to keep everyone in my group organised which I took pretty much in my stride.  My way of coping with the stress and constant chatter, computer rays, wires and madness was to put plants on my desk and bring in the essential oils (mainly lavender and ylang ylang) which I used to waft around from time to time to combat the negative ions in the atmosphere.

Networking with Mums UnLtd: Children welcome but not compulsory.


I organised a networking meeting a couple of weeks ago for busy Mums.  Children were welcome but not compulsory.  There were activities, such as colouring, gingerbread decorating and toys for the little ones and they beavered away in the background, while us ladies got down to promoting our business, for MOST of the time.

Outside of the box living for an outside of the box thinker.

From where do you work?  What’s your most favorite working environment?  I’d like to live and work from somewhere quite untraditional like a barge, lighthouse or even an oil rig, now that would be an interesting challenge.
